  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the eggs, then into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides well.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the cutlets to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
