  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough, spread cinnamon and chocolate chips, then roll it up.
  5. Cut the roll into pieces and place them in a baking dish. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create a frosting, and drizzle over the rolls.
