- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk (for frosting)
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, egg, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough, spread cinnamon and chocolate chips, then roll it up.
- Cut the roll into pieces and place them in a baking dish. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
