  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken and broth. Bring to a boil and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 20 minutes.
  2. Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return shredded chicken to the pot.
  3. Add egg noodles, butter, onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
  4. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and serve hot.
