A quick and delicious recipe for a classic Philly cheesesteak using ground beef, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until browned.
  2. Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of the beef mixture, allowing it to melt.
